Once upon a woodland…

Yesterday my father and I climbed his village’s church bell-tower to view the surrounding world. We found the land’s soft and gently-wavelike undulations from atop the tower pleasantly surprising; usually Norfolk is thought of as so flat and dull. Not so South Norfolk… relatively speaking, of course.

I was particularly keen to get some pictures of my parents’ growing woodland, which is where I’ll develop an installation for the village’s Fifth Sculpture Trail, title-theme Balance, in 2008. The ‘wishing woodland‘ will take shape through contributions from members of the public, which I’d like to gather – in the months running up to the trail – mainly via a www webpage that I hope will look something like this (click to enlarge):If you, or anyone you know, knows how to design simple webpages with submittable forms, and how to manage the ensuing data, then I’d love to hear from you.
