A Chara,
photos are superb, use to live near the 7 sisters tube [clonmel road - funnily enough and walked to highgate every day! Also an arsenal fan. More recently I've been staying at the crown moran in cricklewood [after a bad stint in the islington hilton - thats another long story?!!]
Anywho? the Lord Nelson pic looks a little beatles hamburg era esque? No disrespect to a fine establishment.
what is the second pic?

Hi Peter,
Thanks for dropping by, and for the compliment.
I know nothing about the nelson pic being beatles-esque; just did some tweaking back home to encapsulate a mood – as with all the pics here. Maybe I’d seen something once that slipped into my unconscious, unbeknownst to me. And I couldn’t say whether the pub is a fine establishment…
The second pic was of some building work going on behind a temporary grill fence on the pavement of the Holloway Road. Hopefully it’ll receive some greenery and pleasant landscaping to cheer it, and the road, up – they need it in my view! – once the building work is done.
Best wishes.

Drfrank,
havent done the walk in 14 years – pics where good for nostalgia… you might post one when the building is finished. Fingers crossed on the landscaping gig. As a hobby photographer, your work is admired.
Cheers
